And so the Gap Year Re-planning Begins

After thinking about the schedule I posted last week I realised that it was just silly. I’m sure I will re-plan this schedule over and over and over again until March arrives, and I’m sure you will get quite tired of it, but for me this is the process. I have thought about it some more and have decided after March and April in Australia and New Zealand that I will next go to South America and save Asia for the end. This allows me to drive across Canada in the middle of summer and potentially make it to London for the 2012 Summer Olympics, to which I have always wanted to go.

My very first independent international trip way back in 2005...

March: Australia

April: New Zealand

May/June: South America

July: Canada

August/September: London, (and maybe Iceland) then Eastern Europe

October: Middle East

November-February: Asia

Again it is still not nearly enough time to see everything I want to, so now I have to start deciding what things are the most important.

Any suggestions or recommendations? Any places that I am leaving out that I must visit?

Love, Lee
